Using YouWave, I can run Medscape medical app on my Windows 7 PC. It’s cool considering no official Medscape app available for PC and saves me hundreds of bucks buying an android device just to use this medical app.

Using YouWave, i can test lots of apps, live wallpapers, tweaks, etc and best of all YouWave is already rooted by default.

Things I like about YouWave

  • Dead simple way to run Android on Windows PC
  • Able to install Android apps using apk
  • Internet works out of box
  • Smooth and does not use a lot of ram and cpu
  • Does not dependent on VMware or VirtualBox

Things I dislike about YouWave

  • It;s not free, you can use free trial for 4 days though
  • Does not support apps that using native ARM code
  • Works fine for apps, but games support is lacking and most of games i tried not working
  • Somestime crash when opening app
  • No flash support, but not a big problem since you are using it on desktop
